no s l e e p till Brooklyn D3

Day 3. Saturday.

I have never experienced getting up early with such ease as I have being in NYC. For my entire life I was a midnight owl, but not here. All thanks go to jet lag 🙂

Today, I felt like I went back in time! My partner Mr. BeerQuest.TV dreamed of getting special craft beers from Brooklyn’s OH[Other Half Brewing]. We made plans for to go on this morning which meant standing in the line from 8 until 10am before opening. Like in good communistic times! Yaaay (sarcasm).

The whole experience was pretty interesting, I haven’t seen such a thing like this here in the Netherlands or maybe I have been a craft beer ignorant to pay not enough attention on that subject. Anyways! The line to the brewery wasn’t super long, there were maybe 20’ish guys trading beers, having cars full of beer cans. You could easily see some “old friendships” mostly dudes, no gals except 2 other than me. It wasn’t that difficult to communicate with the rest i just realized I’m totally not prepared for this kind of adventure! No folding chair, no touristic fridge full of craft beers to taste and trade it with new people at 8 at the morning. Next time more preparations will be done 🙂 And guys! Leaving home without breakfast and drinking these divine beers on empty stomach wasn’t smart either. Glad I’m Polish! [Inside joke hope u get it?]

ps. don’t be fooled by this sunny impression, it was November’s morning and it was pretty cold.

The rest u can see on pictures, I think I’m better with the images than with words. It was always like that. Aho!

When i t snows (Polish version)

When I t snows (Polish version)

We can’t deny the climate change. The winter in Poland was always a proper winter with lots of snow especially in the mountains. I remember being a kid or teen spending most of the winter time outside.

This year heading back for Christmas to Poland was hoping for some snow. We went to our favorite and closest place, Szklarska Poreba, hoping to hike or snowboard for this couple of days. All the weather forecast were saying “there will be a snow for Christmas Eve” but when we came to, there was nothing but rain and 5 degrees (on plus).

We were lucky to have snow for 3 days, having unexpected surprise at the Christmas’s morning. U can see on the first picture our outside fridge for craft beers!

There is not some many photographs form this trip since I was busy to remember everything with my own eyes 🙂

Btw on our way back we stopped by the biggest statue of Jesus in the world in Swiebodzin. I called it Rio de Swiebodzineiro 😉 but now seriously… this is the state of the mind which I will never get.

When I t snows (Dutch version)

Its has been looong time when I’ve been here for the last time.

Social media overwhelmed me recently, but there is never enough for photography. Especially I’ve so many things to share here with you. Photo diary should play its role. Will do my best to be here more often.

Thank you all of you for visiting my Woman World! I really appreciate it!

I don’t know if you guys know but The Netherlands is sometimes quite bizarre country. We have here rain for more than 200 days per year, but when it comes to snow, this country is paralyzed, gigantic traffics, trains being cancelled, no public transportation. But this always has a bright side, a walk! Today I was visiting Delft. I took few pictures before my phone died.

Some still-life’s here
